The original flat had a dark feature wall and a narrow living room. We opened the plan, laid pale herringbone vinyl throughout and ran a wall of flush white cabinetry down one side to hide storage and the household shelter.
A live-edge timber table on a single pedestal sits between the entrance and the sofa, with a built-in bench on the window side. The piano has its own alcove under a framed print.
An olive tree marks the entrance, and the kitchen and bathroom pick up the same pale timber and white stone.
