In a three-room flat the kitchen does the most work, so we gave it the most character: a marble-look island with bar seating, two oversized rattan pendants and sage-grey shaker cabinets along the window wall.
The entrance gets a classic black-and-white checkerboard floor with a built-in bench and shoe cabinets, meeting the timber parquet of the living room at a clean line.
The bathroom vanity is a fluted white curve under a round brass mirror; the bedroom keeps to white, with a fluted headboard panel and a single ring wall light.
